The Gators from Palm Beach Gardens are one of the most consistant and succesful programs in all of Palm Beach County. Don't expect the tradition to fall off this season as they return plenty of talent and the same recipe for winning.

Strength: Running Backs- As has been the case for year at Palm Beach Gardens, the running game will once again be the major strength of the offense, thanks in large part to a stable of capable running backs. The group is led by junior James Jones who was among the leaders in the county last year in all rushing categories. Jones isn't the only guy who can carry the load though as this backfield features seniors AJ Lorick, Demarcus Williams, and Jasper Bodiford, plus junior Josh Sheppard. These 5 backs all posess certain qualities that coach Fleury will know how and when to use.
Weakness: Passing offense- This has always been a weakness of the Gators team and this year is no different. Look for Gardens to once again be a one dimensional offense, which may prohibit them from being able to beat elite opponents.
Key Player: FB/LB Jasper Bodiford- Jasper has been a key member of the Gators team since he started as 10th grader on the state title team. He's the leader of the defense and despite his size, is always around the football making plays. On top of that though, he is a very capable fullback on offense who can gain the tough yards. This defense lacks some experience, so they will count on Jasper to lead them to another strong season. If the last two seasons are any indication, Bodiford will have no problem doing so.
Key Game: Although the schedule features mega matchups to start the season, it's the week 8 game against rival Palm Beach Lakes that will be the most important for the Gators. Depending on their earlier season matchup with Vero Beach, this game against PBL will either be to clinch the district or to keep the playoff hopes alive.
Outlook: This is your typical Palm Beach Gardens team, which means expect quite a bit of success. The running game should be dominant, but the passing game will make it hard for them when they play top notch opponents. The defense should be solid as always, yet not impossible to move the ball against. The biggest edge the Gators have though is the coaching staff. Year in and year out this is one of the best coached teams in the county, and that gives them a chance to win every game they play. They'll need that edge with the murderous schedule they are facing.
Prediction: 7-3 (4-0), 1st in District
