The Panthers looked on the verge of pulling off a major upset in the 2nd round of playoffs last year against Booker T. Washington. The tide in that game quickly turned though as Booker T answered Dwyer's first 21 points but scoring the final 38 in the game. That game left a bad taste in the mouth's of Dwyer, and they will be looking to take it out on 561 opponents all season long.

Strength: Rushing Offense- Class of 2009 RB Donald Russell emerged last season as one of the very best running backs in all of Palm Beach County. What's even scarier is that he may not even be the best runner on the team when you factor in the ability of QB Bradley Wallace. Throw in hands down the best FB in county in Bruce Stone and this is a rushing attack that will be near impossible to slow down.
Weakness: Offensive Line- While the OL would compare favorably to many in the county, it's still probably the weakest unit on the team. They will struggle against the better front 7's they face, but look for them to stronger as the season goes on.
Key Player: QB/ATH Bradley Wallace- The Panthers showed the amount of respect they have for the ability of Wallace by moving David Pittman to WR on offense. Pittman was one of the more productive QB's in the county 2 years ago, but has since lost his job to the younger Wallace, and that is no slight on Pittman. That's just a testament to how good Wallace is with the ball in his hands. He's not the most polished passer, but he still finds a way to make big plays, and rushing he can dominate a game. He's also one of the best defensive players on the team that can play either safety or linebacker. Truly one of the best all-around football players in Palm Beach County.
Key Game: While Dwyer is easily the favorite in this district, they also can't just sleepwalk through the season as they have to play all 3 tough district opponents in a row from week 8-10. A bad game in those 3, and Dwyer could find themselves in a dogfight. So while you can't pinpoint just 1 game as the most important, it's more like a 3 week gauntlet.
Outlook: Dwyer has turned themselves into possibly the most consistant football program in the entire county. The tradition will continue this year, with many feeling this team has a chance to go as far as Dwyer team has before thanks to a stout defense and nasty running offense that should manhandle most opponents. However, nemesis Booker T. Washington will be waiting for the Panthers in the playoffs once again. Dwyer is hoping maybe the third time will be a charm.
Prediction: 9-1 (4-0), 1st in District
